LG presents OLED TV wallpaper with wireless data transmission

LG has once again redefined home theater design with its latest breakthrough, an ultra-thin OLED TV. Measuring just 9mm thick, the panel is virtually indistinguishable from a wall mirror or painting. The key feature of the new TV is its concept of a wall-mounted TV that sits flush against the wall without any gaps or visible cables.

Wireless freedom with Zero Connect

The new product uses patented Zero Connect technology. Instead of connecting game consoles or media players directly to the screen, users use a separate transmitter. This unit can be placed up to 10 meters from the panel. It transmits a 4K video signal with a 144 Hz frame rate without any delays. This allows you to preserve the aesthetics of the interior, getting rid of the accumulation of cables under the TV.

  • The thickness of the case is a record 9 mm across the entire panel area.
  • Complete absence of input ports on the screen itself for maximum minimalism.
  • Power is supplied via a barely visible transparent cable or a concealed installation system.

Record brightness and MLA technology

One of the main problems with OLED panels has always been their limited brightness compared to LED counterparts. However, LG engineers have used a microlens array (MLA), which has allowed them to achieve a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. This makes the image juicy even in brightly lit rooms. Thanks to this innovation, detail in HDR scenes has reached a whole new level, providing deep blacks and dazzling white accents at the same time.

Alpha 11 AI processor and smart features

The heart of the device is the new Alpha 11 AI chipset. It does not just process images, but uses neural networks to analyze content in real time. AI recognizes objects on the screen, highlights faces and enhances textures, making the picture three-dimensional. In addition, the sound adapts to the acoustic characteristics of the room, creating the effect of presence even without external speakers.

Price and availability

Although the exact date of the market launch is still being specified, experts predict that the cost of such a premium panel will be about $ 5,500 for the base model. Given the unique design and complexity of the wireless data transmission system, the device is positioned as a flagship solution for elite interiors. LG confirms that this TV will be part of the Signature line, which embodies the best achievements of the company.

  • Smart home integration via Apple AirPlay 2 and Google Home.
  • Special Always-on-Display mode for displaying artwork.
  • Environmentally friendly packaging and reduced panel energy consumption.

The future of home entertainment

The emergence of such a slim and functional device indicates that the era of massive black rectangles in the living room is coming to an end. LG has managed to combine high technology with the art of design, offering users not just a TV, but an element of decor that does not take up unnecessary space and offers uncompromising picture quality.
